Request

I would like to make a request for data under the Freedom of Information Act regarding complaints made regarding bin collections.

Can you please provide me with-

1. The number of missed bin collections reported to your authority in 2023 and also the number so far in 2024

2. The number of complaints your authority has received regarding bin collections 2023 and also the number so far in 2024

3. How many recycling bins do you have in the area?

4. Could you also provide, if possible, the number of domestic recycling bins used within your local authority.

1st Jan – 31st Dec 2023 = 5982
1st Jan – 21st Nov 2024 = 5880*
*501 were glass bins which is a service which did not operate in 2023

1st Jan – 21st Nov 2024 = 47
3. 52211 households have access to kerbside recycling services (Domestic) and we have 374 trade recycling customers and we have 8 public glass recycling containers
4. 52211 have access to kerbside recycling services (Domestic).
