Empty residential properties

Request

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request information about empty residential properties in the district.

I understand the Council monitors long term empty homes and applies Empty Homes Council Tax Premiums to encourage reuse, with reports showing significant numbers of properties empty for over two years and homes newly brought into the premium after 12 months unoccupied.

I would appreciate the following information:

1. The number of homes currently classed as empty, broken down by duration (6+ months, 12+ months, 24+ months).
2. Any anonymised data available (e.g property type, postcode, number of bedrooms).
3. Details of any schemes or partnership opportunities for bringing empty homes back into use.
4. Contact details for the relevant Empty Homes Officer or team.
